We provide healthy, nutritionally balanced, high-quality food to individuals and families in need.
Smart Choices Texas offers a Mobile Pantry Pick-up, it is first come, first serve. We currently assist an average of 150 families per month and continue to be a source of outreach for the communities served. You must have a vehicle to pick-up unless otherwise specified. Deliveries are only available to seniors and disabled clients however must be scheduled at least three business days in advance. To receive groceries, please bring a state-issued photo ID or drivers license.
Mobile Food Pantry Update, January 2026
Each year during the Winter season our Mobile Food Pantry pickup service is paused during the months of January and February. We do NOT want our clients, staff, and volunteers standing in the cold.
Food assistance is still available for pre-registered clients. We will provide one food box delivery once per month during this time. Please note that services will be temporarily limited to elderly, Veterans, and individuals with disabilities. Our regular Mobile Food Pantry schedule will resume in Spring 2026.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support. Please stay warm, and remember to check on your loved ones and neighbors during this season. Check back soon for updates.
