We need your help!

We can return the magic back into childhood and make an older adult smile as bright as the sun. There’s always someone in the community who can learn and benefit from your everyday magic, talent, and life skills. Remember the old saying “If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime.” Can you paint picture or sew a shirt? These are valuable skills that you can teach our students.

Without action there is no change. By getting involved you can make a difference and give back to your community. As a volunteer you will gain the fulfillment of knowing that your time and energy will change someone’s life for the better. There are volunteer opportunities for: Mentoring, tutoring, fundraising, packing food boxes, grant writing, and more.

Guidelines

To work directly with our youth, volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and consent to a criminal background check. Volunteers who are between 13-17 years of age may volunteer with signed parental consent, this may not apply to street outreach or outreach center counselors (at the discretion of each program’s leadership committee).
