DONATE FOOD TODAY

The need for emergency food has increased in our community. The pantry fed over 3,000 people last fiscal year, a significant increase from the previous year. We encourage you to donate non-perishable food items.

Bulk and corporate-sized donations help the most.

Poverty is linked with negative conditions such as substandard housing, homelessness, inadequate nutrition and food insecurity, inadequate child care, lack of access to health care, unsafe neighborhoods, and under-resourced schools which adversely impact our nation’s children.

We accept non-perishable items:

Baking – Pancake batter, corn bread mix, cake/cookie mixes
Canned vegetables – Corn, peas, carrots, green beans etc.
Canned fruit – Peaches, pears, pineapple, fruit cocktail
Soup – Any  variety, stews, chili
Condiments – Mustard, mayonnaise, ketchup, hot sauce
Canned meats – Salmon, tuna, corned beef, chicken
Starch – Rice (1 or 2 lb. bag), Pasta (1 lb.), Helpers (tuna, hamburger) Mac and cheese, Stuffing mix, instant potato, scallop or au gratin boxes, peanut butter, jelly
Beans – Canned or dry, red, black, white, split peas, lentils

Please do not donate items in glass.

Want to help?

A vast majority of our clients are families with small children, homeless youth, and older adults therefore we distribute youth food boxes which contain easy to prepare/precooked meals and we also distribute regular food boxes.

Patrons of our food pantry not only receive canned and dry goods, but also an abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, dairy products, snacks, dessert, and eggs to help minimize their weekly grocery expenses.
